We try to keep our general terms and conditions of employment and use as clear as possible, and give you all the necessary information about the online transactions in our shop so that you can easily understand the whole process, from the order request, delivery/pick-up to a possible return if applicable.

It is very important to us that your online shopping experience meets your expectations, so please take a few minutes and read on. Don't forget that you need to accept our general terms and conditions of hire and use each time you make a purchase - they may change, so please check the date at the bottom of the page.

Please note that there are different terms for purchases in our "physical" shop (including prices, service charges, availability, delivery time and return policies), please refer to them in our shop.


1. Domain www.sepol.pt

The site www.sepol.pt is owned by the company Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A., with headquarters at Rua Ernesto Araújo Carvalho, 46, 4460-553 Louro, registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Vila Nova de Famalicão under the single registration number 500 181 110.


2. Subject matter and scope

The present general terms and conditions of contract and use, apply to visitors of the site www.sepol.pt and any transactions of a commercial nature conducted through the online shop of Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A.


3. Safety conditions

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. respects the personal data of all users of its site and undertakes to protect all personal information that each user decides to post there.

5. Products and Prices

All prices are retail prices, in euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force, and are also exclusive to the online shop. Please note that there are different prices in our "physical" shop (including prices, service charges, availability, delivery time and return policies), please consult them in our shop.

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. reserves the right, at any time, to substitute or modify the available products, their prices and the conditions presented, safeguarding the orders already placed.

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. makes every effort to ensure that the information presented is free of typographical errors (in descriptions, features, values and / or images / photographs of products) and whenever they occur and are detected, will correct them immediately.


6. Order enquiries

The user can place their order online at www.sepol.pt. The orders in the Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. online shop can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

While browsing the shop, you can add to the shopping cart by pressing the "buy" button. When you finish selecting products, you can select the option "Show purchases", to make the purchase. In the "Shipping" field you can choose to pick up your order at our shop in Sepol or with delivery to an address that you indicate in the "Delivery Address".

After having introduced your personal data, you will be asked to accept the terms of service and to confirm the intention to place an order. Once confirmed, the order will be sent to the Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. online shop and may not be cancelled, except for the right to cancel under the terms of point 11 of these "General Terms and Conditions of Contract and Use". Your order will not be accepted and the contract is not concluded until you receive, by email, confirmation of acceptance of your order by Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A.. Once your order has been accepted, you will be informed of the reference number which will allow you to track the delivery of the products.

Orders will only be accepted for delivery within mainland Portugal, for other regions please contact us by email or phone.

Should the product(s) be unavailable, Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. shall inform the user and reimburse any amounts paid within 30 (thirty) days from the date of knowledge of the unavailability.


7. Delivery of parcels

Orders will only be accepted for delivery within Continental Portugal. Orders for delivery to PO Boxes will not be accepted.

All orders will normally be delivered between 48 hours and 72 hours on working days.

For orders with payment by Bank Transfer, Credit Card, ATM, the delivery time will be, in principle, up to 48 hours and working days from the date of receipt and confirmation of payment of the order by Sepol, except in case of stock rupture, in which case an alternative delivery time will be proposed.

The delivery will be made upon signature of the receipt by any person at the indicated address who is, from that moment on, responsible for the delivery to the Customer.

If there is no one at the indicated address, the order will remain at the CTT post office of the address area for 3 working days, after which it will be returned to Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A., for orders in which the shipping method is CTT Expresso. For all other orders, the items will be returned to Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A..

For orders that return to Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A., a new delivery will be scheduled, at the Client's expense.

The payment can be made at the time of order confirmation through ATM, Credit Card and Bank Transfer.


8. Methods of payment

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A, in its online shop has several payment options for your order:

ATM - You have 5 days after placing the order to make the payment in an ATM (Multibanco) or in home banking, using the data provided in your order confirmation (entity/reference/value) and sent to the registration e-mail. These data are also saved in the customer account under "orders". If after the 5th day the respective payment is not made the order will be cancelled.

Bank transfer - You have 5 days after placing your order to make the payment at an ATM (cash machine) or home banking, using the data provided in your order confirmation (IBAN/BIC/SWIFT and value) and sent to the registration e-mail. These data are also saved in the customer account under "orders". If after the 5th day the respective payment is not made the order will be cancelled.

9. Warranty

No. DL 67/2003 of 8 April, with alterations introduced by DL 84/2008 of 21 May.

All equipment is covered by a 2-year warranty of conformity for individuals and 1 year for companies, with the exception of consumables, components and accessories, which will have the warranty referred to by their respective manufacturers. To benefit from this warranty, the Customer must keep the invoice as proof of purchase.

If the purchased product is defective or damaged:

You can go to the after-sales service in our shop with the invoice of the item, so that the situation can be assessed.

or

You may report the same to Customer Support at loja@sepol.pt, stating your order number and description of the malfunction. The costs of returning or collecting items within the Warranty period, shall be borne by Sepol.

Upon receipt of the item at Sepol's premises we will carry out a technical verification and if we find any lack of conformity, the item will be delivered to the brand's technical assistance for the lack of conformity to be repaired, or replaced.

If the technical verification detects signs of misuse, and/or any problem that may have caused the item to malfunction (e.g. fall, humidity, etc.) you will be contacted to let us know if you want us to repair the equipment by referring it to the brand's technical support.


10. Damage during transport

Small items (up to 20kg). usually delivered by TIPSA :

Upon delivery, check the condition of the packaging. If this presents any anomaly (damaged, wet, torn box,...), you will be able to refuse the order (in this case, without opening it).

If you prefer, you can accept the order, and should request the delivery sheet from the courier and put what you visually check on the package and in addition write "reservations on delivery, subject to conference".

Large items (> 20Kg), usually delivered by freight forwarders:

Ask for the item(s) to be unpacked.

Check if the item(s) have any visible damage. If it has, DO NOT accept it(s).


11. Termination of the contract

The Customer has, under the terms of the applicable law, the right to contractual resolution (without payment of compensation and without the need to state the reason), which must be exercised in writing, by email, letter or telephone, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order (article 10, paragraph 1 of DL 24/2014 of 14 February).

The items will have to be returned within 14 days after the communication of the decision to terminate the contract and accompanied by the original invoice (article 13, paragraph 1 of DL 24/2014 of 14 February).

The shipping costs of returned items will be borne by the Customer, except when these cannot , by their nature or size, be returned by mail. (article 13, paragraph 2 of DL 24/2014 of 14 February).

If you wish to exchange or return items, you may go to any Sepol shop, or contact the Customer Support service at sepol.pt, which will provide you with all the information about the exchange/return process. Under no circumstances send the items without prior contact as they will not be received.

The return and exchange of items must comply with the following conditions:

- Return of the items and their accessories in good condition, with complete original packaging and accompanied by the respective invoices;

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. does not accept returns or exchanges of these items once they have been used.

After contacting Customer Support sepol.pt and being given the return instructions, you can send us the article properly wrapped, with original packaging to the following address:

All items will be checked on arrival at our service and only those that comply with the return conditions will be accepted for exchange or return.

If you choose a refund, please provide us with an IBAN (international bank account number) so that we can issue a refund more quickly.

If you have received damaged items or items with technical problems, Sepol will arrange to collect them from the place indicated by you, in the same area as the original order, at no cost to the Client.

The return will only be made after the technical verification of the state of the product, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the communication of free resolution.

Sepol - Manuel de Sousa Lopes, S.A. reserves the right not to accept articles that do not comply with these conditions.


12. Conflict Resolution

Under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013, you can make use of the ODR - RLL platform in Portuguese.


13. Final provisions

Sepol may send the Client information about new products, promotions or other information of interest to Online Shop Clients.
